Following an exacting renovation, the Vidago Palace Hotel reopened in 2010, one hundred years after its original inauguration. This beautiful hotel has acquired a new glamour, setting standards of comfort and luxury for the 21st century. The sophistication of the past has been preserved intact, along with high levels of service and hospitality and the building retains a wealth of historical details. The public areas have an opulent feel and are decorated with silk wallpaper and handmade furniture.

Dining is in the splendid grand ballroom restaurant, as well as three alternative options ; The Winter Garden, The Club House and The Pool Bar. There are also four bars and a library. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool as well as a pool and programme of activities for children.

There is an excellent Thermal SPA offering hydrotherapy and thermal treatments in addition to an indoor pool and a gym. Other facilities include an 18 hole golf course designed by Cameron & Powell.
