The old Saint Paul Convent is currently the subject of a multi million euro refurbishment which will result in Hotel Vila Gale Elvas. Located in the historic heart of this Alentejo city, acknowledged as World Heritage by UNESCO, this hotel will be themed after the Portuguese fortifications. It will comprise 80 guest rooms, a Satsana spa with indoor pool, an event hall, two restaurants with different gastronomic offerings, a bar, a wine cellar, a library and an outdoor swimming pool.
