This immensely popular hotel stands at the edge of the sea amid tamarind and pine trees, half a mile from the resort centre with sandy beaches close by.  It is a peaceful haven much loved by the numerous regular guests and the hotel has been awarded a quality seal by Calidad Turistica.

There is a good restaurant 1929 and an outdoor a la carte gourmet restaurant ‘La Terrassa’ serving lunch and dinner in peak summer months.  In addition, there are two lounges, one with a bar and television and occasional evening entertainment.

There is a pleasant outdoor swimming pool and sun terraces by the sea with a drinks service.  There is also an indoor swimming pool (heated in winter), a gym, spa and a tennis court.  Bicycles can be rented.  The Vital Illa d’Or Health and Beauty Centre offers a full range of well-being and beauty treatments and there is a hairdresser.  Hotel Illa d’Or operates daily exclusive excursions on Isabel Maria, a traditional Mallorcan fishing boat, which collects and returns guests directly from and to the hotel’s private pier.
