This delightful hotel dates back to 1921 and painstaking renovations in recent years have restored the former splendour of the building. The exotic Oriental façade has been designated a National Monument.
There is a distinctly Colonial feel to the interior with its stately white columns and potted palms. There are comfortable lounges with bar service. The hotel only serves breakfast as there are many places to eat nearby. A small private garden, containing many stately palm trees, is the only separation between the hotel and the beach. There is a bar, patio and extensive sun terraces, as well as an attractive swimming pool. Bicycles can be hired.
