Opened in 2017, this is Anantara’s debut resort in Europe and it is a tranquil retreat overlooking the Oceanico Victoria golf course. The brand is known for offering a luxurious place to stay whilst remaining true to the local surroundings and culture. There are elegant terraces, a floodlit tennis court and several swimming pools including an ‘adults only’ one and one for children. Anantara Spa offers a good range of facilities and treatments – it has a number of treatment rooms, an indoor vitality pool, sauna and Turkish bath. In addition, there is a fitness centre.

There is a selection of dining options including contemporary Portuguese cuisine at Emo Restaurant, local seafood at Ria Restaurant and international food at Victoria Restaurant. In addition, snacks and drinks are available at Anantara Lounge & Bar, Palms Pool Bar and Cascades Pool Bar. There are a number of childcare services divided into age appropriate clubs and catering for children aged 4 months to 18 years old.
