Day 1 : UK to Calais to Reims
Travel in your own car to Calais by Eurotunnel before heading on to Reims. Take a tour of Reims before visiting a family run Champagne house.

Day 2 : Reims to Beaune
Self-drive from Reims to Beaune before exploring the town with your guide and enjoying a private wine tasting in a cellar.

Day 3 : Beaune to Lyon
Self-drive from Beaune to Lyon before enjoying a walking tour of the city.

Day 4 : Lyon to Les Baux de Provence
Self-drive to Avignon for a guided tour including a visit to the Palace of the Popes.

Day 5 : Les Baux de Provence to Toulouse
Self-drive from Les Baux de Provence to Toulouse in time for a guided walking tour of the city.

Day 6 : Toulouse to Barcelona
Self-drive from Toulouse to Barcelona.

Day 7 : Barcelona
You begin your tour by walking through la Rambla, going inside a traditional food market and ending at the monument of Christopher Columbus. Later go inside the Casa Batlló modernist museum before exploring its surroundings.

Day 8 : Barcelona to Valencia
Self-drive from you hotel in Barcelona to your hotel in Valencia. Today you will learn how to make paella and can also visit a local garden, to pick up fruit and vegetables to accompany it.

Day 9 : Valencia to Granada
Self-drive from you hotel in Valencia to your hotel in Granada. 

Day 10 : Granada
Today you will visit the amazing Alhambra. A guided tour through the inside and the gardens will teach you more about the history and curiosities of this heritage site. In the afternoon, take a walk to the Albaicín neighbourhood.

Day 11 : Granada to Cordoba
After breakfast, self-drive to Cordoba. Today you will visit the Mosque, an unmissable World Heritage Site. After lunch, you will head to the picturesque Patios Cordobeses. These typical inside patios are full of flowers and colours.

Day 12 : Cordoba to Seville
Self-drive from Cordoba to Seville this morning before a walking tour to see the highlights of this beautiful city. Later in the afternoon, you will have the option to see more of the old town by horse and carriage, or you can go on a boat trip on the Guadalquivir River.

Day 13 : Seville
A day to discover more of the culture of Seville. Starting from Plaza España, you will go to the Cathedral, the Real Alcazar and the Santa Cruz neighbourhood.

Day 14 : Seville to Vilamoura
Self-drive to Vilamoura before enjoying a guided tour of the Eastern Algarve, beginning in the cubist city of Olhao, then moving on to Tavira. Take the short route through Cacela Velha to see the magnifcent view over the Ria Formosa, before reaching Vila Real de Santo Antonio, which lies on the border with Spain.

Day 15 : Vilamoura to Evora
Self-drive from Vilamoura to Evora before your guided tour of the city. In the afternoon, you can visit Arraiolos with its white houses framed with blue or yellow stripes, the castle at the top of the village keeping guard and the embroiderers working in the streets and making the famous Arraiolos carpets.

Day 16 : Evora to Lisbon
Self-drive from Evora to Lisbon before your guided tour of the highlights of Lisbon, including a tram ride and a stroll through the elegant and sophisticated Chiado district, with its theatres, book shops, old-style cafes and art nouveau jewellery shops.

Day 17 : Lisbon to Coimbra
Today, you will head for the university city of Coimbra. Founded in 1290 by King Dinis the university has an incredible collection of over 200,000 books stored in incredible carved and gilded bookshelves.

Day 18 : Coimbra to Baiao
Self-drive from Coimbra to Baiao, stopping en route at Aveiro, the Portuguese Venice. In its historical centre, 19th and 20th century Art Nouveau palaces show the wealth the salt trade generated in this town. Peek into a pastry shop and taste the famous Ovos Moles.

Day 19 : Baiao
Head off on a one-day Douro River Cruise. This is a chance to really get a feel for this fascinating region. 

Day 20 : Baiao to Porto Self-drive from Baiao to Porto
Today you will have the opportunity to discover the highlights of Porto on a half day private guided city tour. This afternoon, take a tour through a port wine cellar, before moving on to the tasting room.

Day 21 : Porto to Santiago de Compostela
Self-drive from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, before enjoying a guided tour of the city.

Day 22 : Santiago de Compostela to Leon 
Self-drive from Santiago de Compostela to Leon, before enjoying some free time in the city.

Day 23 : Leon to Madrid
Self-drive from Leon to Madrid. On arrival, you can have a guided tour of the main attractions of the city before heading to one of the typical local markets.

Day 24 : Madrid
Today you will go inside the famous Prado Museum and learn about art and history before taking a walk through its beautiful gardens and around the area. In the afternoon, you will visit the Royal Palace.

Day 25 : Madrid to Bilbao
Self-drive from Madrid to Bilbao before enjoying a walking tour of the city and a visit to the Guggenheim.

Day 26 : Bilbao to Bordeaux
Self-drive from Bilbao to Bordeaux before exploring the town on a guided walking tour.

Day 27 : Bordeaux to Chenonceau
Self-drive from Bordeaux to Chenonceau. On the way, have a walking tour of Amboise before discovering the Clos Luce.

Day 28 : Chenonceau to Dinard
Today, you will move on to Dinard, stopping in Dinan along the way.

Day 29 : Dinard to Deauville
This morning, visit the unique Mont Saint Michel before arriving in Deauville.

Day 30 : Deauville to Paris
Today explore the medieval city of Rouen with your guide before visiting the Plume Garden, then heading on to Paris.

Day 31 : Paris
