Day 1

Flight from UK to Naples. Private transfer to Hotel Club Due Torri.

Day 2: The Unbroken Castle: A morning guided walk from Maiori to Thoroplano

This urban hiking from Maiori to the Castle of San Nicola de Thoro-Plano combines history and breathtaking views. The route winds through alleys and stairs, climbing up to this well-preserved medieval fortress, offering spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast and the crystal clear sea. Thoroplano is the only castle on the Amalfi Coast never destroyed during the fall of the Amalfitan Republic in 1137. While other fortifications were razed, Thoroplano survived. Not by strength alone, but by position, intelligence, and landscape.

Day 3: Wine Tasting at Tenuta San Francesco

Visit the historical pre-philloxera vineyards (300-500 years old), the XVII century wine cellar. Lunch using country traditional products together with the ‘Tenuta San Francesco’ owners and their families in the magic atmosphere that only a place like Tramonti can give. During the meal, there’ll be the guided wine tasting of 3 D.O.C reserve wines – Amalfi Coast and a sparkling wine.

Day 4: Pompeii & Vesuvius Full Day Small Group Tour

Meet your local guide for the day and board on the coach to depart to Pompeii, passing the beautiful towns along the Amalfi Drive. Upon arrival, guided visit of the ruins (approximately 2.5hrs). In Pompeii you’ll have the chance to explore one of Europe’s most compelling excavation sites. This Roman city was lost for 1700 years, partially destroyed and buried under ash and pumice after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll have a unique insight into ancient city life. After lunch (not included) depart for Mount Vesuvius. The bus takes you 1000 meters up the volcano, then you’ll be escorted by a guide to the summit. From here enjoy views over the southern part of the volcano and, during days with good visibility, the entire gulf of Naples. On the journey back, visit one of the most prestigious cameo and coral factories in the region to see the production of typical Italian carvings.

Day 5: Hotel Cookery Class with the Executive Chef

The Executive Chef of Due Torri offers exclusive cooking classes, giving guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the traditions and flavours of authentic Italian cuisine. The Chef will guide participants through the preparation of traditional handmade fresh pasta and two different sauces. After the cooking class, guests will enjoy lunch during which they can taste the pasta they have prepared, a main course and homemade lemon sorbet.

Day 6: Capri Cruise Deluxe Full Day Small Group Tour

Climb aboard a luxury motoryacht in Maiori and set sail for Capri. Admire picturesque Li-Galli Island, where Ulysses is said to have seen mermaids. Then, cruise around Capri and pass the White Grotto, Arco Naturale, Casa Malaparte and Faraglioni sea stacks. Dock at Marina Piccola for a swim, discover the Green Grotto sea cave and take an optional trip to the Blue Grotto (may be very long queues). Continue to Marina Grande to get 3 to 4 hours at leisure on the island. Benefit from another chance to swim on the return journey to the Amalfi Coast in the late afternoon.

Time to say ‘arrivederci’ to Italy for now and return to UK. A private transfer will take you from your hotel to Naples airport for your flight.
